Cases in ContextCases in Context (CiC) is a joint outreach project between the New Mexico Supreme Court Law Library and the New Mexico State Library. This civics education program explores New Mexico history and law through New Mexico Supreme Court cases. Court rulings reflect a specific question at a specific time in history and are a fascinating starting point for further questions.
This online resource will encourage instructors, students, and the general public to discover more about New Mexico and its legal history and engage in discussions about specific court rulings. Explore a case through primary and secondary resources and find suggestions for additional reading. Four cases each year will be based on a broad theme.
