Welcome GODORT Technology Committee members! 

This guide includes information about the GODORT Technology Committee.

Getting Started

To prepare for your work on this committee, read the Technology Committee Chapter in the GODORT Policies and Procedures Manual (PPM).

The current ALA website is built using Drupal. To request access to the training site, email: help@ala.org

After completing the training exercises, email help@ala.org to request access to the ALA GODORT webpage.

 

Continuity

CONTINUITY OF ACCESS

Google/Gmail Account

The outgoing committee chair will transfer the recovery phone number for this account to the new committee chair at the beginning of the new chair's term (generally after ALA Annual).

LIBGUIDES

The GODORT chair manages access to LibGuides and will grant access to committee members.

All committee chairs will be designated as LibGuides Admins in order to be able to add images to the site.
