Georgia State Documents Depository System

The University of Georgia Libraries (UGA) was designated the official depository for Georgia state government publications through a law passed in 1993. State agencies are required to submit five copies of all of their publications to UGA Libraries. Documents are made available electronically through the Georgia Government Publications Database. Although the depository system was established in 1993, UGA's physical state documents collection extends back to 1876. Contact the Map and Government Information Library at UGA at mapsinfo@uga.edu or 706-542-0690.
